Turn left at the Angel public house, over the level crossing and the swing bridge, and park in the Row Barge public house car park.
Walk back to the canal and upstream to the first lock. The fishery is around a mile or so in length and finishes at the next lock having passed over the swing bridge.
Some excellent perch and chub, with many roach and bream as well as the terrific tench in the summer months.
A small section of overhead electric cables must be observed as the notices indicate.

The society has four double rods on this classic Avon fishery.
Fishing is on both banks for most of the fishery, with one wooded section.
Good barbel and chub are to found in most areas, with some good shoals of dace. Trout are stocked at the beginning of the game season and may be fished for with nymph and fly.
This excellent fishery is on the borders of the New Forest and is graced by many of the animals present, with barn owls regularly quartering the adjacent fields, whilst buzzards hover overhead, an idyllic place to be.

This fishery is subject to the traditional coarse fishing close season.
